چکیده

Unrestricted use of herbicides to control weeds in agriculture causes a decrease sensitive individual populations soil biota, among which Lumbricus terrestris should be noted. Because they make up fairly significant part the living biomass and play an important role functioning soil. The continuous-acting can cause not only 100% lethality, but also affect functioning, growth, reproduction habit individuals terrestris. article has presented results field experiments laboratory studies effect different chemical classes on number development research have established negative earthworm (Lumbricus terrestris) sunflower agrocenosis due herbicides. was reduced by 2.1 times when applying triazine (Gezagard) 3.7 chloracetomids (Dual Gold, Harness) 30th day compared control. Influence of Lumbricus terrestris Earthworms on the Structure of the Yeast Community

The taxonomic structure of yeast communities was studied in forest litter and soil, as well as in substrates transformed by the activity of Lumbricus terrestris earthworms (leaves in heaps, the gut contents, and coproliths). The activity of L. terrestris has a weak effect on the total yeast abundance but results in substantial changes in the community taxonomic composition. The share of ascomyc...

Cytodifferentiation during Spermiogenesis in Lumbricus Terrestris

The structural changes during spermiogenesis were studied on developing spermatids in seminal vesicles and receptacles of Lumbricus terrestris fixed in glutaraldehyde-osmium tetroxide and embedded in Epon-Araldite. The centriole plays a prominent role in the morphogenesis and organization of the microtubules of the manchette and flagellum. Microtubules arising from the centriole extend anterior...

Ceramide glycanase from the earthworm, Lumbricus terrestris.

Ceramide glycanase (CGase) is an enzyme that cleaves the linkage between the sugar chain and the ceramide. To make this enzyme readily available, we have developed a simple method for preparing it from the earthworm, Lumbricus terrestris. The method involves Bio-Gel A-0.5m, octyl-Sepharose and p-aminophenylthiogalactoside-agarose column chromatography. By gel filtration, the molecular mass of e...

Chemical Stimulation of the Nerve Cord of Lumbricus Terrestris

Nerve cells of different functions cannot be differentiated histologically by staining methods. In order to prove chemical differences it is necessary t o affect the function of a given type of neuron by the action of a chemical agent. Thus Baglioni 1 has demonstrated a chemical difference between sensory and motor cells in the frog and the squid, by showing that phenol is an excitant for the m...
